William Kimbrough Mitchell

William “Bill” Kimbrough Mitchell was born on May 1, 1928 to Helen and Hudon Mitchell. He passed away March 13, 2025 at the age of 96. Bill was raised in Wagner, Oklahoma. He married Doris Stacy and they were married 60+ years.

Bill and Doris raised two children together, Sandra, husband Tom, and William C. and wife Patty. They had three grandchildren, Kimberly (deceased 12/12/2015), Will (wife April), and Byron (wife Chassidy); three great-grandchildren, Gary, Karly (husband Tyler), Hailey (husband Jessie); and two great-great-grandchildren, Kimber and Aiden.

Bill loved to golf, fish and go to the horse races with brother-in-law Chuck Stacy. He was an active member of St. Matthews Methodist Church where he volunteered for three years. He was also an active member of The Senior Center in Midwest City.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on March 29, 2025 at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
