Tyler Ray Hughes

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tyler Ray Hughes, who left this world on March 6, 2025, at age 30. Born on April 29, 1994, Tyler was a devoted father, beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His kindness, determination, and love for life left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.

Tyler was a proud father to his three beautiful daughters, Ariel, Hazel, and Halo, who were the light of his life. He worked tirelessly to provide for them and to set an example of hard work, perseverance, and love.

A true entrepreneur, Tyler was the proud owner of Ray’s Landscaping and Lawn Care, a business he built with dedication and passion. His strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence earned him recognition and praise from many. When he wasn’t working, Tyler could be found cheering for his favorite football team, out by the water with a fishing pole in hand, or enjoying the peace and adventure that nature provided.

Tyler is survived by his loving mother, Teresa Hughes; his grandmother, Carolyn Hughes; his half-brother, AJ Paul; his half-sister, Ashlee Paul; his aunt and uncle, Kristi and Rick Wren; and his cousins, Kaitlyn Whitmore and her husband, Chester, and Kasey Hunt and her husband, Ian. Most importantly, he leaves behind his three daughters who will forever carry his love and legacy.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vearl Hughes, and his stepfather, Clovis Plantz.

A graveside service to celebrate Tyler’s life will be held at Memory Lane Cemetery, 20451 NE 10th Street, Harrah, OK, at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11th, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory.

Though his time with us was too short, Tyler’s legacy of love, hard work, and passion will live on through his daughters and in the hearts of all who knew him.
