Rodney Dale Justus, age 66, of Ralston Ok. passed away from this life on November 11, 2024 in Norman, OK. Rodney was born on October 1, 1958 in Kingsville, TX to Gloria Theresa Alessandro and Dale David Justus.
In his early years Rodney worked in construction, loved to paint, even worked at Universal Studios in Florida. Later on, he moved to Ralston OK, where he met his cherished wife Deborah. Rodney became a member of Teamsters Local 222 Salt Lake City Utah employed as driver/operator. This career led him around several states in US working on the pipeline. He also worked for Rockford Construction on pipelines. Rodney loved to work and was very dedicated to it! Whenever he returned home to Ralston, he owned and operated JustUs Trucking.
His hobbies included riding ATVs with his friends and family "Ralston River Rats" Rat Pack, grilling and cookouts with friends and family, gardening, and playing Xbox with his grandsons. Whatever Rodney did, whether work or play was done wholeheartedly. He would do anything for anybody, only wanting honesty in return.
Rodney AKA, "Turtle" and "Poppa Rod" was a devout Christian and loved to study the Bible and attend church in his later days. He liked donating to various charities and organizations and paying his tithes. One of his favorite sayings was "if you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all."
Rodney is survived by his sisters, Debbie Regalia of New York, Sherry Edwards of Florida; brothers Dale Justus of Mt. Home, MO and David Edwards; several step-children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of many friends.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Gloria, grandparents, beloved wife Deborah and a special son-in-law Kris Kennedy.
