Robert William Rusgrove

Robert William Rusgrove, age 80, from Choctaw passed away December 9, 2024. He was a Navy Veteran and Proudly served his country from 1965-1969. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was born April 6, 1944 to Lloyd and Althea Woods Rusgrove from Connecticut. 

Robert known as "Bob" was a devoted husband, father , and grandpa/Gpa. His Family was an inspiration to him and he loved to spend time with them. Bob enjoyed being outdoors on his land and loved to watch Westerns, Wheel of Fortune, and Football (OU), and going to the senior center to play Dominos with his dear friends. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. 

Bob is preceded in death by his wife Orvilla (Frances) Rusgrove; father Lloyd Rusgrove; mother Doris Prior Rusgrove; siblings, twin Floyd Rusgrove, Everett Rusgrove, Arthur Rusgrove, Thurlow Rusgrove and Lewis Rusgrove. 

He Leaves behind to cherish his memories his siblings Charles L. Rusgrove (Alabama), Alfred H. Rusgrove and wife Cecilia (South Carolina), Edwin R. Rusgrove and wife Valerie (Texas), Armand C. Rusgrove and wife Betty (Florida), Ethel J. Bramlett and husband Timothy (Georgia), Ruthanne P Brann (Maine); his children, Lisa Ferdinando and husband Alfrado of CA, Lloyd Rusgrove and wife Elisha of Moore, OK, Trinette Shaw and husband Bruce of Benton WA; Vanessa Burgess and husband Carl of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jeff, Desire, Teesa, Justin, Brittany, Marishka, Nathan, Briarra, Anthony, Colton, Nicholas; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
