Lois Fay Jones “Granny”, age 77, of McLoud, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her home on March 1, 2025 after a long battle with lung cancer.

Born on September 11, 1947, in Hillsboro, Oregon, Lois lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Darcy Lynn Epling and Dorrie Lee Jones; two sons-in-law, Todd Epling and Michael Jensen; and her three cherished grandchildren, Dakota Lee Epling, Noah Jones Jensen, and Nikolai Jones Jensen.

Lois will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Biography: Lois Fay Jones was born on September 11, 1947, in the scenic town of Hillsboro, Oregon.

From a young age, Lois demonstrated a strong sense of family and a kind, gentle spirit. Lois was married and later divorced Roy Levon Jones, but they remained companions and lived together until his passing in 2009.

Lois was a dedicated and hard-working woman. When her daughters were very young, she was a devoted stay-at-home mother. Later, she worked as an administrative specialist for the corrections department in Hillsboro, Oregon. Upon moving to Oklahoma, she retired after a successful career as an administrativespecialistat Metrotech in Oklahoma City.

Lois's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always offering unwavering love, support, and guidance. Her daughters and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

In her free time, Lois enjoyed a variety of activities. She loved camping, boating, fishing, and riding in the family rzr.

She also found pleasure in watching game shows, playing slot machines at the casino, playing in the pool with her family, playing arcade games with her grandchildren, and taking trips to the beach.

Lois particularly enjoyed playing games and spending time with friends and family and connecting with her family in Denmark via FaceTime.

Lois's warm smile, laughter, and loving presence will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Lois is preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve Claire (Frederickson) Knodel; her father, Raymond John Knodel; and her brother, Larry Raymond Knodel.
