Daniel Keith Bell of Midwest City, OK, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the age of 43. Daniel was born on May 27, 1981 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the son of Cynthia “Cindy” Bell. He grew up in Harrah, McLoud and Jones, Oklahoma.
Daniel was a very accomplished trim carpenter. He then moved on to be a skillful aircraft sheet metal mechanic. He always wanted to be a pilot but was told he was color blind which dashed this dream. He thought the next best thing would be working on the aircraft that carried many of our men and women war fighters. That was a way of supporting his dream of flying.
Daniel also loved cars, especially foreign sports cars. He had a collection of die cast metal cars that his grandpa and grandma started. His mom also helped him grow his collection through the years. Eventually he bought his first car, a 1990 Nissan 300Z. Daniel also refurbished a few Hondas and this paved the way for him to buy his dream car, a 40th Anniversary Nissan 370Z.
His babies, Kennedy and Alex were his pride and joy. His love for them was unstoppable. He was very proud of them. He always bragged about them and laughed about their shenanigans and little quirks. He loved taking them places. They were the light in his dark places.
Daniel loved playing and watching sports. He began playing soccer when he was four. He played soccer until he joined a little league football team. He continued playing football through his high school years. Daniel also tried basketball but found out it wasn’t for him. He made many friends during his school days and some remained long-time friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ollie Ruth and Carl V. Bell, Aunt Dee Harding and Uncle Paul Bauman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved daughter and son, Kennedy R. Bell and Alexander “Alex” V. Bell; mother Cynthia V. Bell; brother Eric Bell and his children Karen Bell and Taigon Bell; uncle Carl V. Bell, Jr and his wife Michelle; aunt Teri J. Bauman; and many cousins, family and friends.
