Carl Andrew Jones

Carl Andrew Jones was born on September 22, 1940 in Kingston, New York to Phillip D. and Louise Grasenbech Jones. He passed away December 30, 2024 at the age of 78 in Southwest, Oklahoma City with loved ones at his side.

Carl attended the schools in Kingston and got his degree from Kingston High School in 1964. While in school, he was active in the FFA, he worked at the Boice Brothers Dairy until graduation. In 1966 he attended and graduated from SUNY Coble Skill with a degree in Agricultural Science. 

Carl moved to Oklahoma in 1976 where he pursued his passion for Rodeo. He worked and retired from Schwartz Ready Mix. He met Sylvia Schnieder and they were married in July of 2003.

Carl was a loving husband, good father and a wonderful big brother. We will miss Carl with all our hearts.

Carl is survived by his wife Sylvia; daughter, Sierra Schneider; daughter-in-law, Joy Ortiz; sister, Charlotte Garofalo; nephew, Nicholas Garofalo; niece, Kim Garofalo; and two great nephews, Oliver and Miles Garofalo.

There are no services planned for Carl.
